We were tired of replacing asphalt shingles every 10 years due to the crazy Ottawa winds. Switching to standing seam metal with Big City was the best investment we've made. The crew was meticulous, the flashing details are perfect, and the house looks incredible.
I was worried about nails in the driveway because of my kids and pets. The crew used a massive magnet sweep and spent an extra hour cleaning up every bit of debris. The roof looks great, but the cleanup really set them apart.
Our roof was cooking our attic, making the AC run constantly. They assessed the ventilation, recalculated the requirements, and installed proper venting along with the new shingles.
GAF Architectural shingles look fantastic. Their standard practice includes synthetic underlayment and proper drip edge install, which others quoted as upgrades. Quality work.
Replaced our vinyl siding with a Gentek upgrade. The installation is clean, no gaps, and they handled all the tedious trim details perfectly. Great value for money.
Woke up to a watermark on the ceiling after a heavy rain. These guys were the only ones who answered the phone. They had a team out within hours for a temporary patch and documentation for insurance.
When they tore off the old siding, they found rot. They documented everything, quoted the repair scope before work began, and didn't take shortcuts. I appreciate the transparency.
The durability of steel siding in Canadian winters is what sold us. Big City did a professional install. It's sharp, modern, and very quiet compared to the old vinyl.
We wanted the durability of metal but the look of traditional tiles. The Monterey system they installed is stunning. The installation process was fast and very professional.
It's hard to find a contractor you trust. Big City gave a written quote, had a 10-year workmanship warranty, and delivered exactly what they promised. I'll use them again.
Replaced our old vinyl siding with new steel siding, plus new soffit and fascia. The level of detail on the custom capping around the windows is impressive. It's like a brand new house. Clean site every day.
Had new seamless eavestroughs and downspouts installed. They recalculated the water flow and positioned the spout extensions perfectly to move water away from our foundation. Great job.
We had some loose flashing near the chimney. Most companies wouldn't even quote it. Big City treated it professionally, did a quick fix, and photo-documented it.
We have a metal roof and were terrified of snow slides onto our deck. They installed specialized snow guards based on our roof layout. Works perfectly.
After hail damage, they worked directly with our adjuster, documented every slope, and kept the repair timeline moving. That saved us a lot of stress.
